Mrs. Laru Calton

Hi, my name is Laru Calton. I was born and raised in the Philippines. Growing up in the Philippines instilled a great appreciation for life and to be confident, content, generous in all that I do. I truly believe when
given lemons in life, you make lemonade. I have a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. I have been teaching since 2010. My experience is teaching 1st - 5 th grade.  I spent 2½ years in early childhood with toddlers.  I have taught the english language to foreign students online.  My belief is that all people, children and adults love to learn. The key is to get them to enjoy the learning process. If a child wants to learn, they will. My job is to get them to want to learn and to be proud of their accomplishments.
